# Requests

The Requests module helps audit teams securely collect information, documents and responses from clients in a structured manner. Instead of managing evidence through long email chains, auditors can create organized request checklists and track responses directly within the engagement.

This section helps auditors:

* Create and manage client request lists
* Share requests with external collaborators
* Track request progress and approvals
* Review uploaded documents and responses
* Maintain an organized audit evidence trail

The Requests workflow includes:

* **Creating a checklist**
* **Sharing a checklist**
* **Approving a checklist**

### **Creating a Checklist**

Auditors can create request checklists manually or using predefined templates.

A checklist may include:

* Document upload requests
* Short answer questions
* Multiple choice questions
* Grouped sections and tasks

Auditors can also:

* Assign due dates
* Organize requests by audit area
* Reuse templates across engagements
* Customize requests for each client

This ensures information requests remain standardized and easy to track.

***

### **Sharing a Checklist**

Once the checklist is ready, auditors can share it with external collaborators through a secure request portal.

External users can:

* Upload requested documents
* Respond to questions
* Track pending requests
* Submit completed responses

Auditors can monitor:

* Submission status
* Pending items
* Updated responses
* Approval status

This creates a centralized workflow for managing client communication and evidence collection.

***

### **Approving a Checklist**

After responses are submitted, auditors can review and approve each request item directly within the platform.

Auditors can:

* Open submitted responses
* Review uploaded evidence
* Approve or reject submissions
* Request revisions if needed
* Maintain a review trail for audit documentation

Approval workflows help ensure evidence completeness and reviewer oversight before execution begins.
