# Requests

### **Requests Overview**

The **Requests** tab is the main workspace for external collaborators.\
It contains all checklist items that the audit firm has assigned.

Inside the Requests tab, there are two sections:

#### **Assigned to you**

Shows all checklists and individual request items specifically assigned to the collaborator, along with their due dates.

#### **Assigned to all**

Shows shared requests that can be completed by any collaborator from the client’s side.

This structure makes it easy to know what needs action and what is upcoming.

### **Working with Checklists**

When the collaborator clicks on a checklist, it expands into multiple sections. Each section represents a request created by the auditor. These can be:

* **Document Uploads**\
  The collaborator must upload the file requested. Sample documents may be attached by the auditor for reference.
* **Short Answer Questions**\
  The collaborator must provide a brief written response.
* **Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)**\
  The collaborator must choose from the options provided.

Every section shows its status and due date. As each item is completed, the collaborator can submit it. The checklist automatically updates to show which parts are pending or completed.

***

### **Uploading Documents**

Document requests appear inside the checklist as upload items.

**To upload a document:**

1. Open the checklist.
2. Click on the specific document request.
3. Use the upload button to attach the required file.
4. Submit the item once the upload is complete.

Uploaded files become visible to the audit team instantly.

***

### **Re Assign a Request**

If a collaborator feels another user in their organisation is better suited to respond to a particular request, they can re assign it.

**How to re assign:**

1. Open the checklist.
2. Click on the section you want to re assign.
3. Choose the **Re assign** option.
4. Select the alternate user.
5. The request moves to that user’s workspace.

This keeps workflows flexible and ensures responses come from the right people.

***

### **Status**

Each request or checklist item moves through a clear set of statuses so both the auditor and client know exactly what stage the response is in.

#### **Pending**

The request is created but the client has not started working on it yet.

#### **Submitted**

The external collaborator has completed the item and submitted it. The auditor now reviews the response.

#### **Approved**

The auditor has reviewed the submission and accepted it. No further action is required.

#### **Needs Info**

The auditor has reviewed the submission but requires corrections, more documents or clarifications.\
The external collaborator must update the response and submit again.
